401k - All eligible employees may participate in our 401(K) plan through TRANSAMERICA effective one year after their date of hire. Under the plan, an eligible employee may elect to contribute up to 100% of their pre-tax total compensation, not to exceed the annual limits established by the Internal Revenue Service.
Medical Insurance – Health insurance is available to eligible employees and their eligible family members after the 90 day probation period. Heartland Meat Co., Inc. contributes to the cost of the premiums for the group benefits, with the employee sharing the very minimal remaining cost.
Vacation Pay – Min. one year but less than 3-One week of paid vacation
3 years but less than 10-Two weeks of paid vacation
Sick Pay – Employees are limited to five (5) sick days per year
Holiday Pay – New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
Product Purchase Policy – Employees may purchase Heartland Meat Co., Inc.’s products on a daily basis.
